Style Guide version 1.1

Home

This is the LawDepot Style Guide.

Goals
  1. The goal of the Style Guide is to act as a stand-in for contributors when looking for guidance about choices that need to be made in terms of design, development, and content.
  2. Also, to improve the efficiency of design and development process by universalizing patterns so any designer or developer can quickly assemble projects.
  3. To provide a clear and concise design system for contributors.
  4. To systematize design choices like margin spaces to reduce redundancy in creating specs and overcome the resulting idiosyncrasies throughout the website.
  5. To provide a common language for contributors when communicating about the website. (See Atomic naming conventions).
  6. To demonstrate how elements are used within the site.
Designers

Currently, there is a Style Guide being compiled for designers who use Adobe Illustrator to create wireframes and mock-ups. Please, consider adding to the library. A link can be found here:

The style guide pages use Bootstrap tabs inside of WordPress Gutenberg blocks to create the sections of “Example”, “Description” and “Code”.

The template and instructions on how they work can be found on the Template Page.
